Buttery baking spread, softened

225g

Caster sugar

225g

Cocoa powder

55g

Self raising flour

300g

Pink sugar coated chocolate sweets

55g

You will also need:

Tray lined with baking paper

Heart shaped cutter

Step 1 of 4

Preheat the oven to 180C (160C for fan ovens) / Gas Mark 4.

Step 2 of 4

In a large bowl, cream the buttery baking spread, sugar and condensed milk together until light and fluffy. Mix the flour and cocoa powder together, then stir into the buttery mixture to form a soft dough. Roll the dough into 15 walnut sized balls.

Step 3 of 4

Spray the heart shaped cutter with a cooking spray and place on the lined baking tray. Press the dough ball into the cutter to form a heart. Remove the cutter and repeat with the rest of the cookie dough. Make sure to space the cookies well apart as they will spread when cooking.

Step 4 of 4

Squish the pink chocolate buttons into the hearts and bake for 12-15 minutes. Leave to cool on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
