Café Con Leche
Originating in Spain, this drink has been around since the 1700s and is still enjoyed as a breakfast staple. A rich, dark espresso brewed with scalded milk and a dash of Carnation Sweetened Condensed milk to sweeten.
Bianca Doppio pod
Whole milk
You will also need:
Nespresso Vertuo machine
Step 1 of 5
Spoon the Sweetened Condensed Milk into the bottom of the mug.

Use the Bianco Doppio pod to prepare the espresso.

Whilst the espresso is being prepared, heat the milk in a small saucepan until scalding hot (around 80c) – make sure the milk doesn’t boil!
Bring the milk to a very gentle simmer in a saucepan over medium heat. As the milk is heating up, occasionally stir with a whisk to ensure the milk doesn’t burn. Watch for the slightest hint of bubbling and pull it from the heat.

Pour the espresso gently over the condensed milk so if forms two defined layers.

Top with the scalted milk and enjoy!
