Coronation Tiffin
We’ve heard tiffin is a royal favourite with reportedly no crumb left behind! Use Rich Tea biscuits for that classic British Tea Party feel but any leftover biscuits you have in the cupboard work just as well.
Buttery baking spread
Dark chocolate, broken into pieces
Cocoa powder
Rich Tea biscuits, broken into large pieces
Shortbread biscuits, broken into large pieces
You will also need:
23cm (9in) square baking tin, greased and lined with baking parchment
Step 1 of 4
Add the condensed milk, butter, cocoa and chocolate to a saucepan and heat gently until the butter has melted.
Step 2 of 4
Pour the chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits and give everything a good mix until all the biscuits are covered in the chocolate mix.
Step 3 of 4
Add the mix to the baking tin in an even layer and press down firmly. Place in the fridge to set.
Step 4 of 4
When fully set, cut into squares, and serve! Any leftover can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
