Milkybar Fairy Light Bites
Ok it’s a grey Monday in November, Halloween is over, Half Term is over, Bonfire Night is upon us so can we all stop messing around, put Love Actually on and start mentioning the C word?! We’ll ease you in gently with this festive Rocky Road made using our Sweetened Condensed Milk and Milkybar Fairy Lights Bar.
Milk chocolate, chopped
Dark chocolate, chopped
Unsalted butter
For the mix-ins:
Ginger biscuits
bars of Milkbar Fairy Lights (200g)
Mini marshmallows
Glacé cherries, chopped
To decorate:
edible glitter
icing sugar, to dust
You will also need:
20x28cm (8x11in) cake tin, lined with baking parchment

Break the biscuits into small pieces and add to a large mixing bowl – you don’t want them to be too chunky otherwise the rocky road won’t hold together!

Add all the remaining mix ins to the bowl with the biscuits and give everything a good mix.

Add the chocolate and the butter to a saucepan and melt over a low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and gently stir through the condensed milk until everything is just combined. Leave to cool for 5 minutes.

Pour the mix into the prepared tin and press in to all the edges of the tin – don’t worry about the top being completely smooth!

Pop into the fridge until completely set – this will take about 1 ½ - 2 hours. When ready to serve, remove from the fridge and cut into bite sizes pieces. Dust over the top with the icing sugar and the edible glitter. Enjoy!
