Our Gingerbread Millionaires Shortbread was developed in collaboration with Movers & Bakers. 

Celebrate Christmas right with this holiday-inspired twist on classic millionaires shortbread.  Spiced gingerbread crust, a layer of smooth chocolate, topped with rich dark chocolate and festive gingerbread men.

For the base:

Gingerbread biscuits, crushed

250g

Unsalted butter, melted

55g

For the Caramel:

Brown sugar

150g

Unsalted butter

150g

For the topping:

Milk chocolate 

210g

Ginger powder

1.5 tsp

Mini gingerbread men

Step 1 of 4

Mix the biscuits and melted butter for the base and press into an 8” square tin. Chill.

Step 2 of 4

Melt the sugar and butter in a saucepan, then add the condensed milk. Bring to boil and cook until thickened and deepened in colour, about 1 minute. Pour over the base and leave to cool then chill to set.

Step 3 of 4

Melt the chocolate and mix in the ginger powder. Pour over the top of the caramel layer and smooth out.

Step 4 of 4

Place 16 gingerbread men evenly over the chocolate to mark the 16 pieces to be cut once let. Leave chocolate to set before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
