Malai Peda

Dairy whitener or milk powder
Semi-skimmed milk
Corn flour
Lime juice
Ghee
Pistachio nuts, cut into halves
*recipe based on 70% fat buttery baking spread
You will also need..
A karahi or pan
Step 1 of 3
Mix together all the ingredients.
Step 2 of 3
Heat the mixture in a heavy bottom karahi or pan. Cook with constant stirring till thick and the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Step 3 of 3
Remove from the heat and cool. Shape into pedas, and press a half pistachio into each for decoration.
