Vegan Pancakes

For the pancakes:
Self-raising flour
Baking powder
Apple cider vinegar
Vegan milk alternative
Melted vegan spread or vegetable oil plus extra oil cooking
To serve:
Small bananas
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Vegan crème fraiche alternative (optional)
Step 1 of 4
Mix the flour and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl with a tiny pinch of salt.
Step 2 of 4
Beat together the Carnation Vegan condensed milk alternative, vinegar, vegan milk alternative and melted spread and then combine with the flour in the bowl using a balloon whisk. Beat until you have a thick, smooth batter.
Step 3 of 4
Heat a large frying pan and add a little vegetable oil. Drop spoonfuls of the pancake mixture into the pan, cook until turning brown underneath, then flip over to cook the other side. Stack up on plates as you cook them.
Step 4 of 4
To serve; layer up the pancakes with slices of banana and strawberry, drizzle with the Carnation Vegan condensed milk alternative and top with the vegan crème fraiche alternative before tucking in!
